Mirror's Edge
Played quite a bit of it today, the game is really starting to grow on me. After playing through a few more levels of the campaign, I went and tried a couple timed trials. This turned Mirror’s Edge into a racer somehow. I was concerned about how to shave seconds off my time. I almost would wish that I could play this game for about 4 weeks before release so that I could really study the...

WatchWatch
I purchased my first Xbox Community Game last night.  I haven’t had a lot of time with it, but I have played the demo several times and thought that I owed it to Mommy’s Best.  Either way, it was only 400 spacebucks and I played through the first level.  The art style is really great, it is a pretty interesting thing to show people that come over.  I hope that Community Games achieve...

Final Thoughts on ExciteBots
This weekend was Tulip Time, but it was also play as much ExciteBots that I can before Sunday night.  I think that I have commented as much as I could about how great the game is, but there are a couple of snags. The only thing that still bugs me (don’t take the literally for the bots please) about these games is the unlocking.  Sure, I didn’t want to go dip into the guides to find a...

My new obsession is ExciteBots. Clearly from the trailer above, it is like Mario Kart on crack.  There are so many mini-games tied into the racing mechanic that it constant action all the time.  There is no breathers, just solid gameplay the entire time.  Although we have been seeing lots of mini-game collections, or games with mini-games tied into the system, but this game does it seamlessly.  I...

I don't like the game journals
I am having a hard time keeping up and keeping tabs on what I have been playing lately.  No offense, but I don’t think anyone is reading them either.  I will keep a personal account of what I have been doing and see if I can get them posted somewhere in a better fashion than what is available to me, but I can’t keep up with it.  This week was not that much fun for games anyway.  I...

Mondays… Don’t Shit Your Pants (browser) Pretty funny game, worked on typing different types of commands in and still ended up shitting my pants. There are some achievements and you can check my Kongregate username “rempresent” for more details. It was really fun, but only worth a few minutes to check out. It made me want to go the bathroom, so that is saying...

GTA: Chinatown Wars (NDS) More missions, more drugs, more driving… Mario Kart Wii (Wii) Beat Nicole in some split screen multiplayer action. Haven’t really figured out my go to driver/car/bike yet, and that is weird since all I have to complete is the mirrored missions. Most of the time it is Toad, but I don’t think I like to be pushed around as much as he likes it. It...

Last day of April, going out with a bang. Passage (PC/OSX/Linux) Going to keep this game on the computer for some time.  I am reading through all the online documents explaining the intent that Jason Rohrer had when creating it.  Basically my first playthrough, and this was recommended, was just holding down the right arrow key the entire time.  I didn’t really notice all that much and I...
