WatchI can not begin to tell you how much independent game development is the most interesting thing to see in the video game industry. Sure, we are getting big name games in their fifth, seventh or eleventh version and they are still great. But these are the games that change things for the better. This shadow physics demo is so striking because it is a typical platformer with a twist (yet again)....

GTA: Chinatown Wars (NDS)
More of the same, just playing a little bit before bedtime. We had a long Lost night so that cut into some gaming time. All I did was flip some more drugs and a mission or two.
Watched Louis play a lot of Mario Galaxy, I miss that game. Might need to go and redo my filesave to see what I can do to save Luigi. Best game of 2007, I hope we get some teasers or...

More trading drugs in order to build up some cash for an apartment. Just trading and trying not to get busted. I also found out that you should always purchase drug, to a point where you have no cash, then put them in your safe at home. Just in case you get busted, you still have the drugs at home untouched. Would you listen to a podcast about Iowans?
I have started to get into the stories told on This American Life and I enjoy the production value of the podcast. Lots of time goes into the creation of the pieces with separate acts, music, and cutting up the whole interview/stories into just the nuggets. It makes it more manageable and easy to listen to. It is hard and I wish I had an expert around me.
There is a lot out there for someone that wants to start programming for a videogame. I am pretty good at making models, drawing, concepts, UI and all the extra ‘design’ features in the game.
